IIE DIGITAL: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, on July 5 in an intimate ceremony at his Mumbai residence. The actor announced the news during the screening of the upcoming series Pritam and Pedro on Thursday evening, revealing that the wedding would be a private celebration attended only by close family members and friends. The occasion also marked the series debut of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, whose successful collaborations with Aamir include 3 Idiots and PK. Interacting with reporters at the event, the actor shared details of the upcoming ceremony and said he was looking forward to beginning a new journey with Gauri.

"I'm getting married on July 5, and the wedding will take place at home with close family and friends. We seek everyone's blessings and hope that we have a happy journey together," Aamir said.

The actor was accompanied by his son, Actor Junaid Khan at the screening.

Aamir first introduced Gauri Spratt to the public during the celebrations of his 60th birthday in March 2025, confirming their relationship after the months of speculation. Since then, the couple have largely stayed away from the public eye & choosing to keep their relationship private. The wedding will be Aamir's third marriage. He was married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002 and the former couple have two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. Although they announced their separation in 2021, Aamir and Kiran have maintained a cordial relationship and continue to co-parent their son, Azad Rao Khan. They have also remained close collaborators on several creative projects.

Gauri Spratt is also a mother to a son from a previous relationship. By opting for a simple ceremony at home instead of a grand celebration, Aamir and Gauri have chosen to mark the occasion in personal and meaningful way, surrounded by those closest to them as they begin a new chapter together.
