IIE DIGITAL: Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are set to make a special appearance in the third season of comedian Conan O’Brien’s acclaimed travel series, Conan O’Brien Must Go. The makers unveiled the official trailer on Friday, offering a glimpse of O’Brien’s latest global adventures, including a stop in India.
The new season follows the veteran television host as he visits four countries—India, Morocco, the Netherlands and the Philippines, meeting fans he first connected with through his podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan. Along the way, he immerses himself in local traditions, cuisine and culture, blending travel with his trademark wit and spontaneous interactions.
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Ali Fazal expressed his excitement about being part of the show, revealing that both he and Richa Chadha appear in the India segment. He described the experience as one filled with Conan’s signature humour and playful energy.
In a joint statement, the couple said working with Conan O’Brien was a memorable experience. Calling him a comedy legend, they said the conversation during filming was completely unscripted, light-hearted and full of unexpected moments. They added that they thoroughly enjoyed shooting the episode and are eager for audiences worldwide to watch their interaction.
The third season is scheduled to premiere on August 21 and will stream in India on JioHotstar.
The series has received widespread critical acclaim since its debut, earning multiple Primetime Emmy Award nominations. It won Outstanding Writing for a Nonfiction Program in 2024 and Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special in 2025.
