The milestone was disclosed by Netflix Co-CeO Ted Sarandos in an interview with The Indian Express, who emphasized the growing international appeal of Bollywood films. According to him, Dhurandhar was the most popular non-English movie globally this year and had impressed foreign audiences.
The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, is a collaboration between Ranveer Singh and R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, and Sanjay Dutt are all part of the same team.. The first season was screened in cinemas in December 2025, and then released digitally on Netflix.
