IIE DIGITAL DESK :Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in West Bengal, visited Mothabari in the Malda district to meet with families affected by the recent violence in the region. Adhikari, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has consistently voiced his concerns over the political unrest and communal violence in the state. His visit to Mothabari came as part of his ongoing efforts to stand in solidarity with the victims and offer them support during difficult times.

During his visit, Adhikari met with several families who were impacted by the violence that erupted in the region. The clashes had left many families devastated, with properties destroyed and several people left injured. The violence had raised concerns about the safety and security of the local population, and Adhikari's visit was seen as a step towards showing the affected families that they are not alone.

Suvendu Adhikari took to social media to express his commitment, saying, "I am here to stand with the families who have suffered due to the violence. We will continue to fight for justice and ensure that such incidents do not happen again." He also reiterated his demand for swift action by the state government to bring the perpetrators to justice and to ensure the safety of all citizens in the state.

The visit comes amidst rising tensions between the ruling TMC and opposition parties over the issue of political violence in West Bengal. Adhikari has been vocal about the alleged violence against BJP supporters, especially after the state elections. His efforts to highlight these issues and meet with victims are part of a broader strategy to strengthen the BJP’s position in the state.
