IIE DIGITAL: ctor Varun Dhawan took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as his 2016 action-comedy Dishoom completed a decade since its release. Celebrating the milestone, the actor shared a series of unseen behind-the-scenes photographs from the film's shoot and promotions, recalling the memorable experience of working with the cast and crew.

Sharing the images on social media, Varun reflected on the camaraderie he shared with co-stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez, as well as director Rohit Dhawan. He also reminisced about filming a major portion of the movie in the UAE, describing the project as one of the most enjoyable experiences of his career.

Adding a playful touch to his post, Varun hinted that the Dishoom spirit could always make a comeback whenever the country needed its action-packed heroes, a line that instantly resonated with fans of the film.

Directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Dishoom featured Varun as Junaid Ansari, a witty cop whose comic timing and chemistry with John Abraham became one of the film's highlights. The ensemble cast also included Akshaye Khanna, Rahul Dev, Saqib Saleem, Vijay Raaz, Nargis Fakhri and Parineeti Chopra, with Akshay Kumar making a special cameo appearance.

Although the film received a mixed response at the box office upon release, it has continued to enjoy popularity among audiences over the years, with its action, humour and memorable performances helping it earn a loyal fan following.
