After a mere six days of its release in China, the Tom Holland-starring character has now earned more than half of Spider-Man: Homecoming's lifetime earnings and continues to be highly popular.

According to industry sources, the film has earned roughly $22.2 million in six days in China, surpassing Spider-Man: Homecoming's total earnings of around $21.9 million during its theatrical run there. The third-largest Monday for a Hollywood movie in post-pandemic China has been recorded by the latest film, indicating its strong weekday momentum.

The film's impressive success in China is complemented by its outstanding performance overseas. The opening weekend of Spider-Man: Brand New Day generated an estimated $932 million in worldwide earnings, making it the second-highest grossing weekend in Hollywood history. China was a major global market for the film, earning almost $121 million globally and featuring Tom Holland's fourth solo appearance as Peter Parker. In the story, Spider-Man navigates a new set of challenges and abilities that are not present in No Way Home. Zendaya, along with Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, and Mark Ruffalo, are also prominent in the film.

In other markets, the movie has also achieved records. It has set the highest opening for a Hollywood film in India, and is almost at the threshold of 350 crores, despite an expected weekday dip. According to analysts, if the film maintains its momentum in key global markets, it could rank among the top-groomed films of 2026.
