This comes after her comments about Gen Z's actions in early last year caused outrage among audiences worldwide. After being led by students to protest against alleged malpractice in the NEET-UG test, this row swiftly became part of a larger debate on political engagement among young people.

Kangana triggered the controversy by posting Instagram comments criticizing videos from the protests, alleging that some participants had verbally abuse each other and behaved inappropriately. She labeled a group of young women protesters as "Generation Gutter" and expressed dissatisfaction with the teaching of values to younger generations. Opposition leaders, activists, and social media personalities heavily criticized her comments, accusing her of generalizing India's youth in derogatory ways. Saurav Das, a CJP spokesperson, responded to the remarks by questioning Kangana'd language and claimed that such statements were disrespectful to public representatives.
