NEW DELHI: After CCTV cameras captured the location of two suspected terrorists, security forces have launched an 'emple' search operation in the Jammu and Kashmir district of Rajouri. The operation, which involved multiple security agencies, was initiated after the footage was uncovered, leading to increased surveillance and security measures being implemented throughout the area.

Officials reported that the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and other security forces responded quickly after viewing the CCTV footage. The incident occurred without delay. Within hours, teams were mobilized to search residential areas, forested regions, and major transit hubs. Security forces have increased their presence in critical areas to avoid security risks.

Officials are still unsure of where the suspect pair were last seen, but said their search is "on track with credible intelligence reports. According to officials, they are taking all necessary measures for the public's welfare and are continuing to track down those accused. Ranchi is a crucial and strategic area in Jammu& Kashmir due to its proximity to the LoC and past infiltration attempts. Throughout the years, security forces have conducted several anti-terror operations in the area to prevent militants from using its dense forests and rugged terrain as safe areas.

The Union Territory is under increased security alert during the latest operation. While security forces tightened anti-infiltration measures along the LoC, senior military officials are reviewing readiness levels in the Rajouri-Poonch sector.
