IIE DIGITAL DESK : Singer Mika Singh once again grabbed headlines a few months ago when filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan visited his massive 100-acre farmhouse near Delhi. However, not many people know that Mika owns a total of 99 properties across the country, and his primary residence is his 99th property — a luxurious apartment beautifully designed by celebrity interior designer Gauri Khan.

The lavish home, reportedly worth around ₹50 crore, features an elegant grey-themed interior with stylish green sofas and chairs, a white marble table, beige-coloured furniture, and a striking bright yellow chair that adds a unique charm to the overall décor.

Speaking about his remarkable journey in an interview, Mika said, “Touch wood, this is my 99th home.” Recalling his early struggles, he revealed that he began his career by earning only ₹75 as remuneration but never regretted the challenges he faced. With the support and guidance of his brother Daler Mehndi, he gradually developed his musical skills and realised that talent and dedication are what ultimately bring success.

The story behind purchasing this luxurious apartment is equally interesting. In 2012, Mika was living in Shastri Nagar in Andheri. Later, after hearing about a premium residential building, he visited the location and decided to buy six apartments together. The building took nearly six years to be fully completed, and he finally received possession of the property in 2018.

Mika was introduced to Gauri Khan through Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Gauri agreed to design the house with one condition — Mika would not question any of her creative decisions. She spent almost two years transforming the residence into a masterpiece of luxury and comfort. Initially, the property consisted of eight bedrooms, but Gauri redesigned it into a spacious five-bedroom apartment. The house also includes a special junior suite for guests, designed with the elegance and comfort of a five-star hotel. The large living spaces can comfortably accommodate nearly 40 people for gatherings and conversations.

The residence also houses a dedicated temple featuring idols of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Saraswati. Mika shared that every one of his homes has an idol of Lord Ganesha. Other attractive features of the apartment include a large kitchen, a spacious balcony, a white-and-green themed bar area, a stylish dining space, and a special corner decorated with photographs of his family and loved ones.

Mika believes that while many people spend money on unnecessary things, investing wisely is the key to long-term success. He also highlighted that his 100-acre farmhouse is not just a symbol of luxury but also provides employment opportunities to nearly 150 people.

The details revealed in a YouTube video, this grand apartment is located on the tenth floor, with the entire floor belonging to Mika Singh. He also has his personal studio on the sixth floor of the same building. Overall, the residence is not merely an apartment but a complete symbol of luxury, success, and the singer’s extraordinary journey from humble beginnings to a life of grandeur.
