Fans have already expressed interest in increasing the number of tickets, though organizers have deemed these requests unreasonable. Ticket prices have also been announced, with the minimum for the second Mumbai show set at ₹6,000. While historically, tickets for international stars in India have commanded high prices, including performances by Dua Lipa and Enrique Iglesias, the added April 11 show will offer relatively more accessible pricing for fans.
Shakira last performed in India in 2007, and although she sang at a pre-wedding event for Anant Ambani, it was held outside the country. This tour, however, is a dedicated series of concerts for her Indian audience. Beyond entertainment, the tour carries a philanthropic purpose. Shakira has pledged that proceeds from the concerts will support children’s nutrition, helping provide meals to those in need. “Performing in India always brings immense joy,” she said, “and the aim of this tour is to ensure that every child receives the nutrition they need.”
With three shows across two cities, Shakira’s return promises a blend of high-energy performances, charitable impact, and a rare opportunity for her Indian fans to witness the global superstar live after nearly two decades.
