Preliminary Postmortem Report Indicates Acute Pancreatic Hemorrhage in Death of Dilip Ghosh’s Stepson
IIE Digital Desk : 25-year-old Srinjoy Dasgupta, the stepson of senior BJP leader and former West Bengal party president Dilip Ghosh, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in New Town, Kolkata, on Tuesday. The preliminary postmortem report suggests acute pancreatic hemorrhage as the possible cause of death.
According to police sources, Srinjoy had hosted a party at his apartment on Monday night, attended by a group of friends. He was discovered unresponsive the following morning. Family members have disclosed that he had a history of neurological disorders and was undergoing regular medical treatment.
The autopsy was conducted at RG Kar Medical College & Hospital, after which the body was cremated. While the initial findings point towards acute pancreatic hemorrhage, authorities have not ruled out other possibilities. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death to determine if any foul play was involved.
