Weather conditions may remain unsettled throughout the day, and some areas could experience gusty winds during periods of rainfall. The possibility of lightning also cannot be ruled out, prompting residents to remain cautious during thunderstorms.

The latest weather forecast, rain is likely across almost all districts of South Bengal on Friday. East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Kolkata, Howrah, Nadia, Hooghly, Birbhum, Murshidabad, Bankura, Purulia, North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas are among the districts expected to receive rainfall. While the intensity and duration of the showers may vary from one area to another, intermittent rain could affect normal activities in several locations.

Kolkata is expected to remain under a cloudy sky from the morning, with scattered showers likely at different times of the day.
