The two players attended the sacred Bhasma Aarti in the early morning hours and prayed while seated in the temple's Nandi Hall. Indian hockey player Vivek Prasad also visited the temple and performed religious rituals, adding to the presence of prominent sportspersons at the holy shrine.

Tilak Varma and Kuldeep Yadav arrived at the temple at around 4 am to participate in the traditional Bhasma Aarti, one of the most significant daily rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Bhasma Aarti, performed in the early hours of the morning, is particularly significant and draws large numbers of worshippers seeking a spiritual experience at the ancient shrine.
