IIE DIGITAL DESDK : Special FIFA Edition models of the upcoming Motorola Razr Fold and the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion have surfaced online, revealing unique design elements and expected specifications ahead of their official announcements. The images, shared by trusted tipster Evan Blass, show that Motorola could be gearing up to launch themed variants of both phones, potentially to coincide with the FIFA World Cup event later this year.

The leaked FIFA Edition renders suggest both devices will carry textured back panels with distinctive styling cues that set them apart from their standard counterparts. While the overall design language looks largely similar to the regular models, the back panels appear to feature thematic accents, including a visible official FIFA logo alongside Motorola branding, often rendered in a golden shade. The textured finish not only gives the phones a premium feel but also resonates with the exclusivity expected from limited edition models.

Both the Razr Fold FIFA Edition and the Edge 70 Fusion FIFA Edition are shown with triple camera modules on the rear, housed inside square-shaped camera modules. A hole punch display on the front indicates the presence of a modern full-screen experience for selfies and video calls. Traditional placement of power and volume buttons is expected on the right side of both handsets, with USB Type-C ports and speaker grilles also visible on the renders.

The standard Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, which the FIFA Edition is based on, has already seen several leaks detailing its core specifications ahead of its India launch scheduled for early March. The phone is expected to feature a large quad curved 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,200 nits peak brightness. It is also tipped to pack a sizable 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery with 68W wired fast charging support, and might be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 8GB or more RAM. The triple rear camera setup is likely to include a 50 megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary sensor supported by additional lenses for wide and ultrawide photography, as well as a 32 megapixel front camera for detailed selfies and high resolution video capture.

Colour options for the regular Edge 70 Fusion are expected to include Pantone curated shades such as Silhouette, Blue Surf and Country Air, all with leather-inspired textures for a more refined feel. The dedicated microsite for the phone on Flipkart, where the device will be sold in India, has confirmed some of these aesthetics and reinforced expectations for a premium mid-range flagship experience. 

The Razr Fold itself was earlier unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, showcasing Motorola’s continued focus on foldable display technology. The FIFA Edition variant appears to build on that foundation with a themed look, although technical specifications are believed to remain similar to the standard Razr Fold, which sports an expansive foldable screen and flagship-grade internals showcased during its CES debut. 

Motorola has yet to officially confirm the existence of the FIFA Edition models, their exact launch dates or detailed specifications, but the leaked renders are likely to excite fans of both football and premium smartphones. If these leaks prove accurate, the FIFA Edition phones could offer unique collectible appeal alongside strong hardware and refreshed aesthetics, making them standout choices later this year.
