IIE DIGITAL: For devotees planning a spiritual getaway during the holy month of Shravan, Indian Railways has introduced a special opportunity to visit four sacred Jyotirlingas along with the iconic Statue of Unity. Under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative, IRCTC has launched a unique pilgrimage package that combines religious tourism with a visit to one of India’s most famous landmarks.

The 10-day and 9-night journey will begin on August 17 and conclude on August 26, offering travellers a memorable experience covering some of the country’s most revered destinations. During the trip, passengers will get the chance to seek blessings at Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga in Madhya Pradesh. The train will then proceed towards Gujarat, where tourists will visit Dwarkadhish Temple, Bet Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Somnath Jyotirlinga. The itinerary also includes visits to the iconic Statue of Unity and the Signature Bridge in Gujarat.

Passengers from several major stations in Uttar Pradesh can board the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. Boarding facilities will be available from Gorakhpur, Ayodhya Cantt, Sultanpur, Prayagraj Sangam, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Kanpur Central and Jhansi stations.

To ensure a comfortable travel experience, IRCTC has arranged accommodation and food facilities according to different budget categories. Passengers can choose from Sleeper Class, 3 AC and 2 AC options. The package includes vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the journey. Transportation facilities through AC and non-AC buses will also be provided for sightseeing at various destinations.

The tour package has been divided into three categories based on passenger preferences. The Economy package with Sleeper Class costs ₹18,380 per person, the Standard package with 3 AC costs ₹29,570 per person, while the Comfort package with 2 AC is priced at ₹38,870 per person. IRCTC has also introduced EMI and LTC facilities to make the journey more accessible for travellers.

Interested passengers can book their tickets through the IRCTC tourism office located at Gomti Nagar in Lucknow. Online bookings are also available through the official IRCTC website, allowing travellers to reserve their seats conveniently from home.
