IIE DIGITAL: If Japan has been on your travel wishlist but planning an international holiday feels daunting, a ready made guided itinerary could be the perfect solution. A new 10 day escorted tour has been designed for travellers who want to experience Japan's rich blend of tradition, technology and natural beauty without worrying about bookings, transfers or daily logistics.

The journey begins from Delhi on September 6 and wraps up on September 15, taking visitors through some of the country's most celebrated destinations, including Tokyo, Hakone, Hamamatsu, Osaka, Nara and Hiroshima. Anyone with a passport valid for at least six months can join the trip.

Prices start at Rs 3.45 lakh per person, with different rates available for twin, triple and single occupancy. The package also includes a discounted fare for children travelling with their families.

Designed as an all inclusive holiday, the tour covers return economy class flights, accommodation in four star hotels, tourist visa fees, daily meals, sightseeing, airport transfers, travel insurance for passengers below the age of 70, the services of an English speaking tour guide and applicable travel related taxes. International flights are expected to be operated by All Nippon Airways.

The itinerary brings together some of Japan's most recognisable landmarks and experiences. Travellers can stroll through the historic Senso ji Temple and the bustling Nakamise Shopping Street, unwind at Ueno Park, and admire the views from the Mount Fuji Fifth Station. If weather conditions prevent access to Mount Fuji, the picturesque Oshino Hakkai Village is included as an alternative.

The experience continues with a ride on the Hakone Ropeway, panoramic views of Owakudani Valley, and a scenic cruise across Lake Ashi aboard the region's famous sightseeing ship.

Those interested in engineering and innovation can explore the Toyota Automobile Museum and the SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, while culture lovers can visit Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Kinkaku ji Temple, Osaka Castle and the historic Todai ji Temple.

A standout feature of the tour is a journey on Japan's legendary Shinkansen bullet train between Shin Osaka and Hiroshima, offering travellers the chance to experience one of the world's fastest and most efficient rail networks. Along the way, visitors will also get opportunities to enjoy local cultural performances and gain a deeper understanding of Japan's traditions and way of life.
