
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Hooghly, May 21: The felicitation rally, locally described as an “Abhinandan Yatra,” was organized on Thursday in the 2nd Mandal area of Arambagh constituency under Hooghly district. The event saw active participation from BJP leaders, workers, and supporters in large numbers, creating a politically charged atmosphere across the region.
The procession began from the Tunit Bus Stand and passed through several localities including Baliachawk and Bhandarhati, eventually concluding at Santa. Throughout the route, participants carried party flags and banners, engaging in slogans and greetings as the march progressed through different villages and market areas.
Arambagh MLA Hemanta Bag was present at the rally and led the procession alongside party members. During the journey, he interacted with local residents and exchanged greetings, emphasizing the importance of public support and collective effort.
The MLA stated that the encouragement and blessings of the people would continue to guide the party’s developmental initiatives in the region. He further appealed for unity among party cadres and urged them to remain consistently active in serving the public.
The rally reportedly generated significant enthusiasm among BJP workers and supporters, with many participants expressing optimism about the party’s future political and developmental activities in the constituency.
