The heartfelt moment also included her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, who joined her mother in paying respect to her late grandfather.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who married actor Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, has often spoken about the strong influence her father had on her life and personality. Krishnaraj Rai passed away on 18 March 2017 after a prolonged illness, and since then, the actress has consistently remembered him on his death anniversary with emotional tributes.
Aishwarya shared a series of photographs on social media, showing her standing in front of her father’s garlanded portrait, dressed in a white salwar kameez as she offered prayers. In one of the images, she is seen gently touching her father’s photograph, reflecting a moment of deep emotional connection and remembrance. Another touching picture shows young Aaradhya standing respectfully in front of her grandfather’s portrait, observing the tribute alongside her mother.
