IIE DIGITAL DESK :  Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has broken records with his “Dil Luminati” musical tour across India, generating an unprecedented ₹943 crore in total revenue according to sources close to the event. The tour, which took place from October to December 2024, included performances in major cities such as Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, drawing massive crowds and selling over 3.2 lakh tickets nationwide.

The direct revenue from ticket sales alone amounted to ₹276 crore, highlighting the immense popularity and demand for the tour. The tour kicked off in Delhi in October, followed by shows in Pune from November 15 to 24, a spectacular concert in Kolkata on November 30, and additional performances in Bengaluru. The final leg of the tour concluded in December, leaving a significant economic footprint across the cities visited.
