“Abhishek Appears Again at CID Office, Marathon Interrogation of TMC Leader”
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Kolkata, June 16: Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee once again appeared at the CID headquarters at Bhawani Bhavan on Tuesday. On Sunday, he was summoned in connection with an investigation into an alleged signature forgery case in the Assembly. This time, he was called in for questioning related to allegations of making provocative statements.
Abhishek Banerjee left his residence around 11:45 AM on Tuesday morning and was scheduled to appear at 12 PM. He arrived at Bhawani Bhavan a few minutes before the scheduled time and entered the CID office accordingly.
The TMC leader has already faced prolonged marathon questioning sessions earlier as part of ongoing investigations. The latest appearance marks another round of intensive interrogation by the CID in connection with multiple allegations under scrutiny.
