IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Kolkata, June 3: The Trinamool Congress has undergone a major organisational shake-up within a month after the Assembly elections, with all party committees being dissolved. The move came after internal setbacks and pressure from rebel legislators, leading to the complete dissolution of all organisational structures, including the Trinamool Congress, Trinamool Youth Congress, Trinamool Chhatra Parishad, and the women’s wing.

It has been stated that new committees will be formed based on performance evaluation. The decision has been announced by the party through social media, and political analysts are viewing it as part of a broader restructuring process to rebuild the organisation.

Wednesday, the Trinamool Congress announced via its official X handle that all committees have been dissolved.

The post stated that, “After considering all aspects, it has been decided that all committees and frontal organisations of the All India Trinamool Congress are dissolved with immediate effect. From this moment, they cease to exist. The performance of every level of the organisation will be reviewed through self-assessment and work evaluation. Based on this, the party will reconstruct its organisational structure for both the main party and its frontal wings, and announcements will be made in due course. The party remains committed to strengthening the organisation, taking new initiatives, and facing future challenges with clear objectives.”

The announcement marks a significant organisational overhaul aimed at restructuring the party and strengthening its internal framework ahead of future political challenges.
