Suvendu Adhikari Visits BJP State President Samik Bhattacharya’s Salt Lake Residence; Key Meeting Held

IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Kolkata, May 11:  West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari visited the Salt Lake residence of BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya on Monday morning, where the two leaders held a closed-door meeting. The visit has drawn considerable attention amid ongoing political realignments in the state.

Suvendu Adhikari left his Chinar Park residence in the morning, and his convoy proceeded to Salt Lake’s BH Block, where Samik Bhattacharya’s ancestral home is located. Upon arrival, Suvendu went inside the residence and met with Bhattacharya for discussions.

After spending some time at the residence, both leaders left together in the same vehicle and headed toward the BJP’s state headquarters in Salt Lake. According to party sources, further discussions were scheduled to take place at the party office, focusing on organizational matters and strategies concerning the party’s functioning in the state.

The visit sparked enthusiasm among party supporters, as a large number of people gathered outside Bhattacharya’s residence to catch a glimpse of Suvendu Adhikari. BJP leaders and workers were also present in significant numbers. As Suvendu stepped out of his vehicle, he was warmly welcomed and felicitated with a garland featuring the party’s symbol, the lotus.

The two leaders proceeded together to the BJP state office. Upon reaching the party headquarters, Suvendu was formally welcomed with a traditional ceremonial stole. Political observers view the meeting as an important step in strengthening coordination within the party’s state leadership and shaping its future course of action in West Bengal.
