Tributes Paid by Chief Minister on the Death Anniversary of Loknath Brahmachari
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Kolkata, June 3: The death anniversary of Loknath Baba, tributes were offered to him by the Chief Minister. On Wednesday, the Chief Minister expressed respect for the revered saint through a social media post.
In his message, he wrote: “On the death anniversary of Yugavatar Shri Shri Loknath Brahmachari, I offer millions of salutations at the feet of Baba.”
Loknath Brahmachari was a Hindu mystic saint of the 18th and 19th centuries. He is widely known as Baba Loknath, Loknath Baba, and Loknath Brahmachari Baba, and is deeply revered among followers of Hinduism.
Before attaining samadhi, he is believed to have resided at the Baradi Ashram in Sonargaon of Narayanganj district in present-day Bangladesh. The Baba Loknath Brahmachari Ashram located in Baradi, under Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district, is considered an important Hindu pilgrimage site.
