IIE DIGITAL DESK : New Delhi, April 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended warm greetings to party workers across the country on the Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, reaffirming the party’s unwavering commitment to building a “Viksit Bharat” or Developed India.

The message posted on X, the Prime Minister congratulated BJP karyakartas nationwide and praised their dedication to public service. He said the party has always drawn inspiration from the principle of “India First” and has consistently remained at the forefront of serving society.

“On the occasion of the party’s Foundation Day, my heartfelt greetings to BJP workers across the nation,” Modi wrote. “Inspired by the mantra of ‘Nation First,’ our party has always been proactive in serving society. Our karyakartas are known for their selfless service, steadfast commitment, and deep passion for good governance.”

The Prime Minister highlighted the tireless efforts of grassroots workers who, he said, have been instrumental in expanding the party’s reach and connecting its ideology and developmental initiatives to the masses. He also paid tribute to countless party workers whose dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance over the decades have contributed to the BJP’s steady growth.

Modi emphasized that the BJP places people’s welfare at the center of its vision and policymaking. He pointed out that the party’s work at the Centre and in various states reflects this commitment through governance focused on development, transparency, and inclusive progress.

“The BJP is firmly committed to realizing the goal of a Developed India,” he said. “Our collective resolve must continue to advance this dream and take India to new heights of progress and prosperity.”

Observed annually on April 6, the BJP Foundation Day commemorates the party’s establishment in 1980. Leaders and workers across the country mark the day by reaffirming their ideological commitments and organizational goals.
