
IIE DIGITAL DESK ; Srinagar, June 3: The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) unit has been conducting raids across several districts in the Kashmir Valley on Wednesday on suspicion of militant activities.
Based on recent intelligence inputs, technical analysis, and continuous investigations, authorities have identified eight locations across six districts in Jammu and Kashmir and launched search operations there.
Searches are being carried out at two locations each in Srinagar and Bandipora districts, while one location each is being covered in Kupwara, Anantnag, Kulgam, and Baramulla districts as part of the ongoing operation.
Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the cordon and search operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the CRPF has continued into its 12th day. Security forces are continuing efforts to track down terrorists believed to be hiding in the dense forests of the Gambhir Mughlan and Dorimala areas of the Manjakote sector.
