
According to Rajesh Kumar Sinha of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, the tanker departed from the Persian Gulf region and traversed the Hormuz Strait to reach India safely on Monday evening. Ahead of its arrival, port authorities had completed all essential formalities, including documentation, priority berthing arrangements, and coordination for seamless unloading, ensuring that operations proceed without delay.
All Indian crew members aboard the Shivalik are reported safe, and no adverse incidents were recorded in the past 24 hours. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, maintaining regular communication with every vessel and its crew to safeguard personnel and cargo.
