IIE DIGITAL DESK : Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 Edge in India, positioning it as the slimmest device in its Galaxy S series lineup. Measuring just 5.8mm in thickness and weighing 163 grams, the smartphone combines a sleek design with powerful specifications, aiming to cater to users seeking both aesthetics and performance. 

The Galaxy S25 Edge is available in two storage variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at ₹1,09,999, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage priced at ₹1,21,999. As part of a limited-time pre-order offer, customers can purchase the 512GB variant at the price of the 256GB model, effectively receiving a ₹12,000 benefit. Additionally, Samsung is offering no-cost EMI options for up to nine months and exchange benefits up to ₹50,000.  

Crafted with a titanium frame and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, the Galaxy S25 Edge boasts durability alongside its slim profile. The device features a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling experiences. 

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. This configuration promises efficient multitasking and robust performance. The device houses a 3,900mAh battery, supporting 25W wired and 15W wireless charging, designed to last through a full day of typical use.  

The Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 200MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, the device offers a 12MP front-facing camera. Samsung's ProVisual Engine and AI-powered features like Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist enhance the photography and editing experience, allowing users to capture and refine images with ease.  

Running on Android 15 with Samsung's One UI 7, the Galaxy S25 Edge integrates Galaxy AI capabilities, including tools like Now Brief and Now Bar. These features provide contextual updates and app-based screen overlays, aiming to streamline user interactions and enhance productivity.  

The Galaxy S25 Edge is available for pre-order through Samsung's official website and authorized retailers. The device comes in three color options: Titanium Silver, Jetblack, and Icyblue. Samsung has confirmed that the smartphone is manufactured at its Noida facility, reinforcing its commitment to the Indian market.
