IIE DIGITAL DESK ; New Delhi and Ayodhya, June 16: The series of questions have been raised by Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal regarding the alleged theft of donations and valuable items from the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

In a video message on Tuesday, Arvind Kejriwal said that donations worth crores of rupees had allegedly been stolen from the temple. He claimed that nearly ₹200 crore in cash alone had gone missing, along with several boxes filled with jewellery. He added that devotees of Lord Ram were deeply distressed and had many unanswered questions about the incident.

Arvind Kejriwal further alleged that Champat Rai, the general secretary responsible for the temple’s management, holds significant authority over its operations. He questioned why, despite such a serious alleged incident, the management had not been changed and Champat Rai was still continuing in his position. He asked whether time was being given to destroy evidence, influence witnesses, and who was protecting those responsible, stating that the public deserved answers to these questions.

Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the state government submitted its report on the alleged misappropriation of donations and valuables from the Ram Mandir on Tuesday. The three-member SIT submitted its preliminary report to Sanjay Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) of Uttar Pradesh.
