According to administrative and border security sources, their identity verification and document checking process is currently underway.

Officials stated that the next course of action will be decided only after the completion of the verification process. Under the supervision of the district administration, a special camp has been set up where biometric data, fingerprints, and other necessary documents are being collected and stored in a computerized system.

BSF sources clarified that no one will be sent back across the border until all identity-related documents are properly verified.

Administrative sources further informed that around 50 Bangladeshi nationals are currently staying in three holding centres located in Baduria, Swarupnagar, and nearby areas. Arrangements for food, healthcare, and security have been made for men, women, and children staying there.

Authorities have directed that one holding centre be set up under each police station jurisdiction. Preparations for the same have already begun. Surveillance in border areas has been tightened further, and all related procedures are being monitored jointly by central and district administrations.
